The World Of Neopets
The enchanting world of Neopets! Wouldn't you just love to get away from the day to day routine and responsibilities of life and enjoy a few hours of virtual play time fun? Well, that's what the Creators of Neopets (originally NeoPets) sought out to do when they introduced their Neopets virtual world, Neopia on November 15th, 1999.
Creators, Adam Powell and Donna Williams sought to create a fun filled world of virtual pets that could be adopted, fed and dressed with virtual clothes. These virtual pets could be taken care of at little or no expense to their pet owner. These life-like, virtual pets were such a big hit over the next few years that Neopets expanded their line of products to plushies, stickers, note books, and video games as well as several collector trading card games.
In 2003 the Neopet's virtual site was so popular it was translated into ten different languages including Japanese, modern and traditional Chinese, Spanish, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Dutch and French.
Little did their creators know when they invented Neopets, that they would become very popular all around the world and their idea of adopting of a virtual pet would be purchased by ViaCom for 160 million dollars on June 20th 2005, just six years after they were introduced to the world.
From friendly looking insects and cute singing birds to talking squirrels and colorful large dinosaurs, Neopets include a wide selection of virtual on-line pets, and you can adopt up to four pets at one time. They also have a full line of plastic and plush animals, collector card games and electronic video games that can be purchased and are available most anywhere you shop for toys.
You and your children and friends will be amazed at the colorful, fun assortment of pets and lovable characters along with their clothing and accessories that are available.
Some of the plastic battery operated Neopets are motion sensitive and will come to life and talk, walk and light up when you walk past them. Many battery operated plastic pets come to life when you push the buttons on their backs and their heads shake and their ears move back and forth, and their and cheeks light up as they squeak.
These amazing plush and plastic Neopets can be collected or traded with friends and make great companions for a short trip to the store or an overnight visit. Fore more information about Neopets be sure to check out Toy Titan Toys!
